7910 - Retirement ## Retirement

Retirement will be in accordance with the Teacher's and State Employees' Retirement System of North Carolina. No employee will be required to retire at any age.

Any employee who anticipates retirement will notify the executive director of human resources at least 90 days prior to his or her intended retirement date, except in cases where health or other extenuating circumstances make shorter notices necessary.
